Sharon Lyons, a dedicated and active Corporate Board Member, made a significant impact on BIADE during her tenure from 2012 to 2019.
Her commitment was evident as she took on the role of BIADE Conference Chair from 2014 to 2017, contributing to the success and growth of the organization's conferences.
From 2015 to 2019, Sharon served as the President of the BIADE Corporate Board, demonstrating exemplary leadership and guiding the organization through various milestones.
Even after her presidency, Sharon continued to contribute as an Emeritus Member of the BIADE Corporate Board from 2019 to 2023, showcasing her enduring dedication to the cause.
A true trailblazer, Sharon played a pivotal role in shaping BIADE into the organization it is today. Her legacy extends beyond boardrooms, leaving a lasting impression on the brain injury community. Throughout her life, Sharon touched the lives of numerous brain injury survivors and caregivers, embodying the spirit of compassion and advocacy.
Sharon Lyons will be deeply missed by the BIADE community, and her impact will resonate for years to come.
